Yesterday, anti-choice lawmakers dropped the portion of the “Stupak on Steroids” agenda that would have redefined rape.
But unbelievably, they added new language that would let hospitals refuse to provide abortion care when necessary to save a woman’s life.
You read that correctly. Anti-choice politicians have gone from redefining rape to denying abortion care, even to women who will die without it.
Please contact your member of the House right now and say that the entire “Stupak on Steroids” agenda has got to go.
