Wanted: Moderators
I'm currently accepting applications for people to moderate
prochoicemd. There are two absolute rules for one to be a moderator:
1. You have to be pro-choice. I prefer if you're not the "pro-choice but" type (aka...people who claim to be pro-choice, but start to harp others for certain things like how many abortions one had or if someone had a kid as a teen).
2. You have to be from Maryland...either a native of the state or a current resident. This is for the time being. If Since I don'tdidn't get many members that are from MD, you can go ahead and apply if you're from somewhere else as long as you're pro-choice.
Since new entries are now moderated, you would accept or reject entries that come into the "Awaiting Moderation" collumn.
Posts that would be acceptable for this community are related to pro-choice issues that are in Maryland (especially) and other states/countries as well as feminist issues that impact reproductive rights (i.e healthcare).
Posts that are not acceptable to this community would be debate over abortion or any other reproductive choice (i.e "Is abortion wrong or right?), a lifer's inquiry about why we are pro-choice, and any entry that talks about drama from other communities or journals. We don't give a shit about other people's and other communities' drama.
If you're not sure, point out the entry to me and I'll decide.
